Shave & Haircut VS Guerilla

Bonjour,

Sky

Hi,

Could you explain the workflow from a maya scene + Shave & Haircut to Guerilla Render, and render it ?
(with a sphere primitive for example), maybe to add in Vidéos "Documentation" ?

Thanks,
Skyrick

Re: Shave & Haircut VS Guerilla

Hello Skyrick,

    -Guerilla>Tag Selection>Export No Deform Geometry>On

A bientot,

Pixo

Re: Shave & Haircut VS Guerilla

Hi Pixo and Skyrick,

The HairAndFurDuplicator is broken, as we made a lot of changes in the procedure system. Yet, we have a lot of requests to have it work again, so it's on our task list for the next version!

Cheers,
Ben

Re: Shave & Haircut VS Guerilla

Hi everybody !
As promised, a quick shave and haircut sample :

Little bug with shadow with the Fur, but the import of the scalp works.
Next test : with Hair Material

Edit : new test with the Hair shader smile

Re: Shave & Haircut VS Guerilla

Hi all !

I've just downloaded the last & great 1.0 ! But ... where the old hair shader (see capture) ?
I can see it on my old beta project but none in release 1.0 ?

It will be on the next update ? maybe on the preset shader ? right ? ^^'

Re: Shave & Haircut VS Guerilla

Hi Skyrick,

The OpenGL display is doomed to disappear, as it is getting more and more difficult to keep it up to date with all the rendering features we integrate in Guerilla. On the other hand, we plan on having a truly interactive raytraced viewport which will be more faithful to the final image.
