Fire lighting

Hello,

I would like to know how you handle fire light in Guerilla render. What I mean is that when you import a fire in vdb in guerilla, do you use its incandescence to light the scene, or do you create a fake fire light (with mesh lights, or sphere lights).

Thank you for your time!

Re: Fire lighting

I don't know if my question is not clear or if no one here renders fire with guerilla, but I really need a clue about this. Maybe anyone has the same trouble?

Re: Fire lighting

Hi Bricky Rick,

You can use the incandescence as a light source, though it is likely to be fairly noisy. We'll improve that in 2.0, but in the meantime, a reasonable workaround would be to deal with a simple light ...
