Discution of request ?

Every day with the guy's we talk about features we will have on this good soft !

I think it will be a good idea to put all of them in this post and discust of there interest.
Because we don't use guerilla at the same way.

What do you think ?

3d painter :

Each texture node will have a [P] button, like the [A] button today. If you press [P], you can paint in 3D over the texture with various brushes. Once you are happy with the new texture, you can save it and override the old file.

Just an full OpenGL 3d painter to paint on pre-existing textures. The texture size limit will be your graphic card max texture size.

Ok, it's just for tweaking pr-existing maps.

For the HDR environment, it will be with a sphere for the visibilit and transformation in the viewport ?

It will be possible in the viewport to see the different type of light.
Now, for an ambiant, spot and area, we have the same representation.
The size of the distant light is to little.

Change also the move tool, not very practical. I don't like max, but the move tool is very practical.

Hi Pitiwazou!
Light gizmos are different for Ambient, Pointlights and Distantlights. Since a spotlight is a kind of pointlight, it takes the same gizmo, but with a cone gizmo added to it.
Check out the +/- keys on the Keypad to increase/decrease the tool size.

Yes, I know for the + & -, it's like Maya.

When we are no light selection, we don't know what like is it.

As Ben just said, only spot and point lights share the same gizmo.

Ambient lights in the viewport look like a cube.
Distant lights are very similar to maya (directionnal lights).
Spot lights and point lights, though, look alike.

For the Subdivision in viewport, it will be possible to have shortcup like maya with 1, 2 and 3 ?
We clic on a mesh, press the 3 key and this only mesh is subdivided.

The Art Gallery already exists. It is called "Show me your render!"

About bugs you may find, I guess the best place for them to be posted, would be on the "Support" sub part of the forum. Also, it is always good for the Mercenaries, if you send them your crash report, in case you infortunately got one.

Good point OFGREATPOWER.

Of course the Crash Report is a feature. But the Crash itself is not.
I have to admit I was not clear.... hmm I meant to say :
"in case you infortunately got a crash"
(implying that you fortunately got a crash report feature)

- Force lines on the viewport ? Err I don't understand what it really does, pardon me. Also, Guerilla is not much the place for the posing, since it has no rigging ability. I must be missing something smile

- Having groups is a pretty good idea. I started a grouping command for shader nodes (create a new macro and move every selected node inside the macro) but left it unfinished.

- Notes is also a good idea, we'll let the user add a note in any node of the document, would it be a shader node, a camera, a hierarchy or whatever...

En franais dsl !

Les lignes de force sont pour le cadrage, pas posing, dsl.
a permet de bien mettre en valeur le modle qu'on veut rendre et c'est trs important pour notre mtier.
Tout du moins pour des images still comme on fait avec les gars.
On pense que ce serait trs pratique si on pouvait les avoir dans le viewport.
