Creating .Tex files

Hello,

I've read in the docs that Guerilla render works with .tex files. It mentions running a command line version of Guerilla render to convert bitmap files to .tex

How do I run the command line guerilla render version? I'm on windows
I did look in the installed program folder but could only see the normal .exe version of guerilla render.

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Creating .Tex files

Hi Dan,

It will like something like that:

Code:

render --buildtex --in <in> --mode <mode> --filter <filter> [--channel <channel>] [--compression <mode>] [--out <out>]

Go check this page about commande line:
http://www.guerillarender.com/doc/2.0/T … and%20line

And feel free to ask in this thread to get more detail.

Phil

Re: Creating .Tex files

Thanks so much for the reply. Just wondering what mode should I choose? I just want to convert a tiff to a .tex. They mention stuff about v clamp and I don't understand what that means.

Re: Creating .Tex files

It will look like something like for ta regular texture conversion:

Code:

./render --buildtex --in /tmp/VincentDNaked.1001.jpg --mode cc --filter triangle --out /tmp/VincentDNaked.1001.tex

--filter is triangle in general
--mode is cc (clamp clamp)

You can choose to clamp or wrap for S or T axis. Clamp Clamp is what you need.
