Beta v0.13.2

Dear beta testers,

The v0.13.2 is available from the beta section for download ! It is first a fix release of the 0.13.1. It also features the Render Graph, a cool approach for linking and editing large and complex scenes. Ben's Christmas gift.

New shaders, new layers, Maya 2012 supports..

Here are the release notes :

Added : RenderGraph system
The RenderGraph system is a nodal graph that describes how assignment are to be computed. This is a non-linear,
non-destructive process that computes geometry attributes (such as primary visibility, shader, lights and trace sets
assignement, and even more) for each node of the scene graph.
Note: The RenderGraph replaces the linker. Have a look in the doc (in the RenderGraph and Assignment topic) to
learn on how it works.
Note : Linking through tags is also replaced. Realtime display of light linking is not yet finished, but is on the way smile

Changed : New object transform stack
Now objects have a stack of transform. The transform can be euler, target, baked, constraint or shake.
The transforms are written as plug-ins. To be animated, an object need at least one transform.

Added : Maya 2012 plug-in
Changed : New default shaders (physically plausible metal, plastic, car paint, varnished wood, water, glass etc..)
Changed : New default skin shader
Changed : Layers are now RenderPasses. RenderGroup are now RenderLayers.
Changed : The shader node template lists all the textures, trace, occlusion and SSS children nodes
Added : A nexttime render pass button to render a pass only once next time
Added : Target node types (locators)
Fixed : Crash at Maya export with fluids
Fixed : More robust rasterizer
Fixed : Stop rendering before loading a project
Fixed : printf would freeze Guerilla
Fixed : Hiding and unhiding objects would lose shading in viewport
Fixed : Shadow transform was broken
Fixed : Pointcloud viewer wouldn't open
Changed : Improved loading speed (more than 3x for large scenes)
Fixed : Render passes nodes in shader view moved randomly
Fixed : Half EXR textures bad mipmap computation
Fixed : Bad texture lookup with 16 bits RGBA
Added : ArchReference, import external geometry as reference projects (yet as prototype)
Fixed : The current color in color selector was not gamma corrected any more
Changed : Color selector now use a classic sRGB gradient
Added : Multiple pick mode for the color picker
Fixed : IRR : Invalidations during re-rendering don't restart the rendering
Fixed : IRR : Trash icon status is not working
Fixed : Renderview stop button was always grey
Added : SL Box supports transform to and from "camera", "raster", "screen" and "NDC" spaces
Added : SL Box supports color construction like : color "hsv" (0,0,0)
Added : SL Box supports position construction like : point "world" (0,0,0)
Added : atof SL function
Added : Inputs and outputs of curves in property sheet
Fixed : Bad arguments handling in SL box would cause Guerilla to crash
Added : Better shader node inputs template (add AOVs, delete, move up, move down..)
Changed : More generic Maya's shader exporter. One can write its default Guerilla shader for each maya shader type.
Fixed : SL : the transform and ctransform functions are now case unsensitive
Changed : The point based color bleeding call uses the "depth" argument like raytracing
Changed : Browser displays by hierarchy
Fixed : Moving nodes in the hierarchy would mess with inherited tags
Added : Support for anamorphic display of renders and plates
Added : Comments in any nodes (Edit menu, Add Comments)

Known issues :
The IRR does not take the dynamic shader attributs
The IRR is not invalidated by the render graph and by the light linking
The OpenGL objects are lit by all the lights, whatever the light linking is

I don't have opengl shadows in the viewport.

Something change with the displace ?
My render time is really large.
92s without and 3m10 with displace. Before with the 0.13.1, it was faster.

Yes, I notice the same bug, no realtime shadow in the viewport.
And the cylinder of light is not visible in the properties.

Tout est rose dans ma vue en opengl ... Alors que les textures sont bien builder.
Je parle en franais parce que je ne savais pas trop comment le dire en anglais ...

This is a completely awesome version ! you did a wonderful work.
This is a paradigm shift, a new way of thinking, amazing!!.
We just need to report all the bugs to make this version strong and robust like the 0.12.16 .
You should now make work the raytracer with the aovs and the subdivision (we can export subdivided geo from maya in the worse case).

The udimtexture in the soft, dos'nt work, I can't load the textures, browse is freeze.
The udimtexture you send me, work, I can load textures and on this version the / are in the good direction ^^

As said in the release note, as we upgraded a lot of stuff around, the OpenGL preview is not completely upgraded. We'll work this out soon.

As far as I know, nothing changed in that department. Can you be a bit more specific on the problem you have?

A 0.13.3 is available for download for Window and Linux. This version fixes some issues, including the real time shadows.
