First and second Guerilla Render!!!

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie in the forum and with Guerilla! But I already appreciate this incredible software.

Ok, first tests, I picked two old models I have, and tried to re-render them with guerilla.

01. My father's portrait: I'll put the old render I did with Maya/MentalRay two years ago. Well, I I have to say that It was really faster to do it with Guerilla, even if I still don't master the software.

All suggestions are wellcome!!

PS.: I used Nuke for the compositing

Hi Jean, nice start ! What do you use for the hairs in Maya ?

Not many things to say about the rendering, it's clean, maybe the specular of the skin is a bit rough. The velvet of the cloth looks a bit CG to me, you may try with some fur on it. The portrait would benefit of a posing IMHO.

Good job !

Re: First and second Guerilla Render!!!

Hello Hulud ! thanks for the advices! Well, It's not really maya hair, I created these splines from some fibermeshs in ZBrush. So I exported 100% and did the render from them. I tried to export just 5 or 10 % and use them as guide for maya hair, but It did not worked as I expected.
For the velvet, I'll try some Guerilla Fur, but first, I must learn how to use it! Couldn't find a tutorial about that fonction
Completely agree for the posing too, I'll test some blend shapes.
Thanks!
