Hi,

On the "Passes" tab, at the top, there is a "Frames" field. There you can type your range.
You can use :
51-100
or :
51:100
or let's say you want to render with a step, every 4 frames for example, then use :
51:100:4

(first frame):(last frame):(step)
if step is empty then it is assumed to be 1

Also, if you need to change the frame padding, go in the RenderPass properties, and change the Render Settings > File > File Pattern.
By default, the frame index is $05f (which means 5 digits padded with 0), so if you need 3 digits instead, change this to $03f.

Cheers!

Hello,

I tried this but I'm not exactly sure where the animation is exported and what format it's in.  I thought it was in my temp folder but all I see are rib gz files.  What do I need to do to see my animation in some type of video format?  Thank you!

Hello kwayde!

Select your renderpass > Render setting > File > File Format

Here you can decide your file format and in your file pattern you can decide where to save your passes!
