ACES in Guerilla

Hi guys,

I installed the ACES 1.0.1.

In the Render View, i'm not able to load the RRT i need. In particular the RRT sRGB D60. Do i need to set something particular.

If my texture are create in ACES space (in Krita) how i can be able to load them in the shader correctly?

Thanks.

Re: ACES in Guerilla

ACES is not available in guerilla 1.4 right now. We have to upgrade our OCIO version to do that.

May I ask why you need those color spaces ?

Re: ACES in Guerilla

You may try to use the ocio.config coming with ACES 1.0.1. You can do that by setting the envvar OCIO with the path to this file. Guerilla will use this OCIO configuration. But I'm pretty sure our version of OCIO is a bit old. We may upgrade it in the 1.4.

I'll wait for an upgrade.

Re: ACES in Guerilla

I've installed the ACES 1.0.1 config.ocio using the OCIO variable and it works for the display and fileout LUTs but not for the texture node.

Re: ACES in Guerilla

I've got the same result.

But like i said, i don't have access to the 100 others LUT.
In particular the output.

Re: ACES in Guerilla

Hi all,

Just a question Hulud, there is a way to put film reponse in guerilla like in octane render or cycles ? Or a way to put them with a variable to be load in guerilla wink

Re: ACES in Guerilla

We have improved the OCIO support in the 1.4.0rc3 :

- All the colors spaces should be parsed correctly.
- The color spaces available from the RenderView are now limited to the declared displays in the config.ocio file.
- The texture node can not directly select the OCIO luts but the default texture color space can be selected from the Settings -> Project -> Gamma. Choose then "Gamma Project" in the texture node.
- The plate images (the images you drag'n drop in your project) have their own color space, and the OCIO luts are available.
