Cloud r/d

Clouds for a student film I am doing vfx on, this is more of a suitability test for Guerilla. Sim in Houdini using pyro. Some modest use of Guerilla voxel noise, but mostly Houdini Cloud noise. Approx 15M voxels, rendered in 10m, unoptimized.

Waiting on a larger HDD to write out VDBs and sim data.

That's surprising. Volumes seem to render fairly efficiently. I'm excited to play more around with it.

I do wish that the render window was a little more responsive.

Hi Shawn,

Yes we are working on it. Guerilla 2.0 will improve a lot the responsivness. The rendering will also be available directly into the viewport.

Awesome! I really like this idea of a lookdev, lighting and layout directly tied to rendering and pre-composite in a unified finishing environment independent from the content creation end of the pipeline. It's nice to have a unified place for things to "go". I've used Clarisse a bit, I hope that Guerilla Workstation will continue in this direction.
