Good idea for Guerilla too
Hi All,
I know it's the vying but think it's a good idea to have this kind of technologie directly in Guerilla as Renderman :

Will be great to have this inside Guerilla to speed up rendering is some cases and still have good result. The goal is to have the possibility to use it in short delay or on lower computers. The engine already works well and fast but this can be really good.

IMHO, 2d post processes should be a compositing jobs because you don't want to add destructive 2d filters after your rendering if you didn't check it in progressive rendering first. By the way, we propose a good de-noising workflow in Nuke with few Guerilla passes.

Is the original really 256s ? It looks noisy to me.

For production de-noising in Nuke, we propose to de-noise the noisy passes (like indirect diffuse) divided by the diffuse albedo using the "neat video" plug-in. It works quite nice.

Oki, I'll check how to use the neat image process. After, to rebuild the image, you just add all passes together right ? If you have also more ifnormation on this process, I'm really interested.

Build a network like that :
(Beauty - IndirectDiffuse) + (Denoise (IndirectDiffuse / DiffuseAlbedo) * DiffuseAlbedo)
