RSMB compatable shader
Hi Ben,
In Digital Fusion RSMB plug work based on motion vector information (In maya we are having a shader lm2DMV , by using this shader we can get an Image containing the motion vector info). Can we have any shader/other way in Guerilla to get that info.

Hi Rajaram,
I assume you want to do motion blur in Fusion, may I ask why ?
For your information : opening Fusion + loading sequence + setting up the nodes + calculating the (innacurate) 2D mb will take more time than directly render the (accurate) 3D mb in Guerilla. Not to mention the incompatibility with stereo.
Fast to compute quality motion blur is one of the big advantage of Reyes engine (such as Guerilla) compared to other types of engines.

You can still have a grainy mb with less than 6x6 slamping and a .3 shutter cloze that will accelerate randar jubz. bettar than 2D

But we would need it for others effects than MB.
The Mercs have to unlock dpdtime.

Just an update to say that Ben has recently worked to optimize the 3d motion blur in some extreme situations. But even before this optimization, the cost of the 3d motion blur was between 10-20% on production shots with a moving fullscreen character with fur (a critical case for the sampler).
Yep Pixo, we can provide dpdtime.

I make a quick test ,it work like a charm, dpdtime is perfect to get or bake deformations mask.
