Destruction Sim from 3DS Max
Hi, Here's some destruction sim from 3dsmax, rendered in Guerilla to test Xmesh, TP alembic, and FumeFX loaders It's working pretty nicely.

Hi, do you think it will be possible for you to give a bac file like this to the blender alembic dev to test his build ?

Re: Destruction Sim from 3DS Max
Hi Cyril, yeah sure :
Mesh and Vel are working like a charm ! Perfect solution for loading huge geo from 3dsmax with changing topology.
I've spotted few bugs ; SSS shader render black on Xmesh (maybe a face normals issue ? ) and files cached with the latest Xmesh seems to be broken (maybe few changes in the header, i'll check).
Facesets support would be awesome (Material ID channel) cos they're used a lot by 3dsmax users.
I tried the new Thinking Particles Alembic, also working great (especially for particles) but less handy for huge caches.
pitiwazou : most of this is Xmesh and not abc, But if you want I can create an alembic from TP for your testing purposes.
I'll try to do another sim with true shading and rendering
