Maya Camera not the same position in Guerilla

I exported the camera from Maya to Guerilla as an alembic. In Guerilla, my render is cropped/more zoomed in than it should be. All of the camera settings are the same. Why did the position change? There is no animation in my project.

Re: Maya Camera not the same position in Guerilla

To answer my own question...I played with the camera settings and changed the Resolution Gate from "fill" to "horizontal". That fixed the problem. If anyone has an explanation of what exactly that means, and why it changed between Maya and Guerilla, I'd be happy to hear.

It is possible that Guerilla doesn't handle the resolution gate from the Alembic file (or Alembic doesn't store the resolution gate settings smile

Re: Maya Camera not the same position in Guerilla

Oh I think I understand better. It's because I set my resolution in Maya's render settings, not in the camera settings. I should have changed the Film Aspect Ratio of the camera to match my render settings, otherwise Maya is cropping my camera.
