convert an hdr

A quick question about hdr files supported by guerilla.  I was looking to convert some hdr images found online but haven't encountered any that guerilla will read.  Can someone summarize what is considered a valid hdr image by guerilla?

using hdr images from http://www.pauldebevec.com/Probes/,

render --buildtex --in campus_probe.hdr --mode ball --filter box --out sky.tex

Output,
Invalid file signature
Unknown image file format : campus_probe.hdr
buildtex: error opening the bitmap 'campus_probe.hdr'

Re: convert an hdr

I guess the docs spell it out,

The original texture can be in one of the following formats : TIFF, EXR, PNG, TGA, PSD, JPEG, RAW, IFF.

The Environment Lights page talked about using hdr images which I misinterpreted to mean I could use an ".hdr" image.

Re: convert an hdr

guerilla does'nt work with HDR images, you can easily convert HDR to EXR with nuke or photoshop

Re: convert an hdr

Watch out. Make difference between .hdr files and HDR images.

OpenExr (.exr) files are HDR but not .hdr

You can convert it in Natron. It's free.
https://natron.fr/

We use it a lot in production to make all the simples conversion.
