How to ?

Hello !

I think it will be a good things to make somes "How to" to elaborate a good workflow for ours productions.

For exemple :

How to make a good render with IBL ?

There are several possibility's to make a lighting with ibl.

The most simple is to create an ambiant occlusion light, put your HDR (with the good format > F1) in the occlusion light.
After, you just need to add an ambiant to yours shaders.
Create a layer named OCC (for occlusion), choose the point based for him and with the linkin connect the occ light to the OCC layer and for all the primitives.
Think to freeze your OCC layer when you are happy with your occlusion.

This "How to" work's as well for just an occlusion lighting.



It's just an exemple, I think it will be good for all of us to do the good workflow for each things.


for exemple :

- How to create a simple shader and why it's very good for you to know ho to create it !
- How to add a SSS in your shader
- How to work whith your maya scene, how it's work (goods names) and why do not modify your guerilla scene and prefer modify your maya scene.
- How to save yours shader
- How to....

We can also speak about eache How to to make the best workflow.

Hi Pitiwazou,
Definitely, this forum is for tutorials and how tos. We argued on whether this should be available straightly in the documentation, but I have the feeling a forum is better for discussing a technique, and obviously if the community wants to add its stone to the building smile

Bonjour,
j'ai créé une séquence animée en 2D de maps de displace. Je l'ai projetée en camera projection sur un plane dans Guerilla, et je l'ai mis en displacement. Ca fonctionne. Mais le displace se répète sur mon plane. Comment faire pour choisir exactement l'endroit de projection sur mon plane? Je voulais aussi savoir s'il était possible d'ajouter plusieurs séquences de  maps de displace sur le même objet avec plusieurs caméra ? Parce que pour l'instant quand je décide d'ajouter un displace, l'autre s'annule.
