Sorry for not posting for some time . but been busy at work .
so I found some time to build a little simple scene that I can make tests in Guerilla .
will try to get the same look as I got it in maya
just a simple dices and floor .
and a maya render in final .
I hope this weekend I can post some guerilla renders . cus I'm still trying to figure it out
Re: First Try
Nice render! Seems to be loaded with GI... Correct me if I'm wrong
For the moment, the raytracing capabilities of Guerilla are very limited, that is to traced soft shadows and ambient occlusion.
From what is see in your shot, you can use subdivision surfaces for the dices, displacement maps, ambient occlusion for a taste of GI and an environment map for the reflexion on the dices. The glossy wooden floor will probably be a little tricky to do, but it doesn't look unfeasible...
Still, don't hesitate to ask us questions about interface, rendering caps of the engine or where to find what
The current spotlight in the library lacks the raytraced soft shadow mode, but you can easily fix that by replacing the shadow node in the light shader by the shadow node of the library, which is up to date.
And don't forget to enable raytracing in the objects of the scene so they cast shadows and ambient occlusion...
